Timothy B. Colbert, B.A. (Hons.), LL.B.
Tim’s law practice has been providing legal services to the Arnprior and surrounding area for over 30 years. His practice specializes in residential, cottage and commercial real estate, business law, and estate planning and administration. He has been active in community affairs over the past decades and looks forward to continuing to serve the interests of existing and new clients in the future.

Tim and his wife Heather have made Arnprior their home since 1980 where they raised their two children, Ailsa and Will. Heather is a teacher and department head at Arnprior District High School. Both Ailsa and Will graduated from high school in Arnprior and have now graduated from University.

Education
Tim is a graduate of Queens Univertisty where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (1978) as well as his Bachelor of Arts, Honours (1974). He was called to the Bar in 1980.

Nancy (Colbert) Donnelly, B.A. (Hons.), LL.B.
Nancy, Tim's sister, started her legal career as a civil litigation trial lawyer and for more than ten years she represented both corporations and individuals in the litigation process.

In conjunction with this she has been, and continues to be a Court appointed Civil Mediator and is regularly selected by lawyers to mediate their clients’ disputes to a satisfactory resolution. She has given numerous presentations on the mediation process over the years to judges, lawyers, and insurance companies, along with various levels of government officials as well as students at the high school, undergraduate and graduate university levels.

She has transitioned her legal practice by joining her brother - Tim Colbert’s law office where she will specialize in Real Estate Law. She will serve the Arnrprior and Ottawa communities.

Nancy has been married to Shawn for more than 20 years and they are very busy raising their 4 children!

Education
Nancy is a graduate from the University of Alberta where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Carleton University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Psychology. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1990.
